Role :- Front Office Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

At Narain Niwas Palace Hotel, we are looking for an outstanding Front office Manager who will oversee all Front of House Operations to ensure excellence in all aspects of guests services within the Hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling and fully in-charge of Front Office
  • Operations.
  • Handling and in-charge of Transport department including vehicles.
  • Fully in charge of Reservations.
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating guest itineraries and travel plans.
  • Devising implementing and delivering in-house training
  • Sales and Marketing for the hotel. Developing markets and maintaining relations with companies and travel agents.
  • Representing the hotel in Travel Fairs.
  • Working with the Sales Team and doing Sales Calls.
  • Preparing Month end Report e.g. Marketing Report, Travel Agent Production Reports, Complimentary rooms for the month, Opera Reports, Profile Reports etc.
  • Training and developing staff for Front Office induction schedule and training programs.
  • Job responsibility of a Reservation's Manager in terms of handling room reservation operations and planning.
  • Handling of Inventory on the GDS.
  • Additional responsibility to overview Night Audit operations and reports.
  • Ensuring Guest Satisfaction and Situation Handling hence focusing on Customer Needs
  • Allocation of duties and making roster for Front Office Staff.
  • Co-ordination with other departments for smooth functioning and satisfaction of the guest.
  • Re organizing and introducing new procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Responsible to check the work done at Front Office, cashiering.
  • Ensuring that SOP's are followed during operations.
  • Assistance to IT department for the smooth operational of operational systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven working experience as Assistant Front Office Manager
  • Strong organizational and people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Operational knowledge of Opera and Micros property management and point of sale systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Hotel Management degree
  • Preferably 2-4 years of experience in assistant front office position
