Job Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented Workday Financials Consultant with a passion for transforming financial operations? We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to implement and optimize Workday Financials, ensuring that our business objectives align seamlessly with technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Lifecycle Implementation: Lead and participate in the implementation of Workday Financials, from planning and requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Module Expertise: Provide expert guidance on key Workday Financials modules, including:
  • Financial Accounting
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR)
  • Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
  • Procurement
  • Fixed Assets
  • Expense Management
  • Business Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance current systems and workflows.
  • Configuration & Customization: Tailor Workday Financials to meet specific business needs while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Finance, IT, HR, and Procurement to ensure cohesive and efficient system solutions.
  • Testing & Validation: Manage end-to-end testing processes, including test case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
  • Training & Support: Conduct engaging training sessions for end-users to ensure high adoption and proficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and workflows.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials implementation and support.
  • Proven track record of at least two end-to-end Workday Financials implementations.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in configuring Workday Financials modules.
  • Strong grasp of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and integration tools is a plus.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing and collaboration skills.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Skilled in gathering business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions.

Project Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills to navigate competing priorities.

Preferred Skills/Prerequisites:

  • Workday Financials certification or training.
  • Experience in complex business environments (e.g., multi-entity organizations, large-scale ERP systems).
  • Understanding of data migration and Workday integration with third-party financial systems.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools and methodologies.
