Reporting to: General Manager - Training and Development Job Location: GLA University, Mathura Campus Designation: Subject Matter Expert (SME) Domains: • Data Structure & Algorithm and System Design • Full Stack and Database Management • AI, ML, Data Science with Python stack • Cognitive with expertise in Problem-Solving Skills, Life Skills & Personal Branding Job Profile: The subject matter expert will bring deep expertise in their respective domain and is responsible for designing and developing innovative, industry-aligned training programs that enhance students' employability skills. The SME will bring deep expertise in their respective domain and will play a pivotal role in bridging academic learning with industry requirements, ensuring students are equipped for dynamic professional environments. In this job role, SMEs will be able to make a meaningful impact by shaping the future workforce and fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Roles and Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of students in their respective areas (Data Structures & Algorithms, System Design, Full Stack Development, Database Management, AI/ML, Data Science, and Cognitive Skills Development.) • Guide and mentor other trainers within the track to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of training programs and enhance their instructional effectiveness. • Ensure that all training content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current industry standards and certifications. • Work closely with technical trainers, academic faculties, department heads, and external industry partners to ensure program relevance and effectiveness. • Establish partnerships with industry experts to gain insights into emerging trends and incorporate them into the training programs. • Ensure that all training programs and their assessment meet or exceed industry-specific selection criteria. • Provide regular reports on learner performance, training outcomes, and areas for improvement to stakeholders. Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria: Education: Preferably a Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field. A Ph D is a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in training and development and related fields is a must.
