If you thrive on taking ownership, have a passion for learning and enjoy challenging the status quo, we want to hear from you Who we are: Our team submits contribution towards, Platform and software validation for the entire product portfolio Product and Technology demos at customer premises across the world Develop and deliver customer documentation and training solutions Compliance with technical certifications like TL9000, TSEC etc Level3 Technical Assistance for the customer escalations Team works closely with PLM, HW and SW architects, sales and customer account teams to innovate and develop network deployment strategy for a broad spectrum of networking products and software solutions. As part of this team, you will get an opportunity to validate, demonstrate and influence new technologies to shape future optical, routing, fibre broadband and wireless networks. What you work: Develop and maintain the automation framework. Use in-house and modern tools to enable automation of reporting, scheduling of runs, etc. Define automation test methodologies for increasing the automation coverage across platforms supporting Layer 2, Layer 3 and GPON. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments, understand requirements and translate the same into framework components Define the framework to be future proof, include various hooks to ensure that it is self-sustaining and can handle future requirements without a major overhaul. Mandatory skills: Extensive hands-on experience designing / developing automation frameworks Python framework-based knowledge is a mandatory requirement. Usage of tools like Jenkins, Gitlab is also mandatory. Candidate should be well versed in working with platforms which use these frameworks and should be able to design and develop over these platforms with little or no training requirements. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communications skills Should be able to guide a team of engineers, plan and track the progress across various projects and enable the usage of the automation framework across the team. Desired skills: Working knowledge of data networking protocols. FW development in Telecom using OO based design patterns will be a plus Experience in Selenium and UI open-source framework development is a plus Passion for achieving excellence in process, product quality and reliability. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 6-10 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background. Education: B. Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree.
