As the Engineering Lead , you will take ownership of the technical design and development of new features while leading a high-performing engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all development is aligned with the technical design, meets quality standards, and adheres to the defined processes. Your role will involve managing the entire product development cycle, optimizing systems for performance and scalability, and driving innovation in our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful feature releases.

Responsibilities:
Understand requirements and create robust technical designs for product development.
Ensure all developers follow the technical design and code quality standards.
Break down functional stories into technical stories for clear execution.
Manage the Scrum-based product development cycle and ensure delivery timelines are met.
Lead the review process and ensure technical debt is minimized.
Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and seamless functionality.
Mentor and grow the engineering team, ensuring a high level of technical expertise.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Frontend, Analytics, and DevOps.
Finalize technical product design and manage changes in response to evolving needs.

Skills Required:
10-15 years of experience, including 3+ years in management or lead roles.
Experience in a startup environment, building new features and functionalities from the ground up.
Strong expertise in building scalable solutions in the Data and AI/ML space.
Proficiency in Java, Spring, React, ES6, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS3.
Experience in performance optimization, microservices architecture, and cloud-based systems.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data modeling, and performance tuning in databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, RDBMS).
Expertise in Agile Scrum, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of testing libraries and frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Junit, Mockito).
Familiarity with NLP and analytics workflows is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
