JOB PURPOSE ETG Coffee and Cocoa Sustainability teams are responding to the need for data analysis and verification and due diligence in response to our project reporting and emerging regulatory changes (eg EUDR, CSDDD).

The role fits in the impact oriented and energetic sustainability team of 10+ experts across 6 countries, that have already onboarded farmers digitally in dedicated surveying and assessment tools.

The role of the Data Analyst is to clean, harmonize the structure and validate geo-data in form of (smallholder) farmer coffee plot polygons and way-points, with a.

And in addition the Data Analyst will compile data files including CSV and polygon data in sets that refer to specific coffee shipments.

With a fast-changing context of regulatory requirement and sourcing developments, this role offers a dynamic environment for strategizing within an interdisciplinary team and bringing tangible results in inclusion and impact for smallholder farmers.

Roles & Responsibilities: Execute data cleaning, validation and compilation processes and procedures as defined by Data Compliance Manager Compile and maintain central databases for farmer geo-location, coffee traceability and shipment log collating data from different systems (incl CSV) with dashboards (Power Bi) Execute frequent scheduled and impromptu data requests from clients, governments and other stakeholders by compiling, analysing and validating data from ETG and third parties Supporting deforestation-related data reports for ETG's banks and impact investors Experience & Qualifications At least 2-3 years working experience in a data analyst role Strong knowledge and experience working with Geo Information Systems and remote sensing tools Expertise and efficient working experience in Excel, Power Bi scripting (other software or programming languages are a plus) About you Highly accurate, analytical and process oriented Proactive and independent, whilst also having teamwork mentality Agile and stress resistant, being able to operate in fast paced business environment Good communicator to solve issues and align processes in a multicultural setting with team members in Europe, Africa and Asia.
