About the Business Unit : System & Network Admin: IT service provider to all the business within Times internet. The WAF & CDN Engineer will be responsible for implementing, deploying, fine-tuning, and supporting Web Application Firewall and Content Delivery Network solutions. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, highly motivated professional with hands-on experience in WAF and CDN platforms, seeking an opportunity to work with a global leader in the media industry. Web Application Firewall (WAF) Configure, deploy, manage, and maintain cloud-native Web Application Firewall solutions. Evaluate existing WAF policies, perform periodic analysis, and provide fine-tuning recommendations. Collaborate closely with application development teams on security-related projects. Strong understanding of OWASP risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation mechanisms. Knowledge of cross-site scripting (XSS), CSRF, SQL injection, DoS/DDoS, API attacks, and related threats. Content Delivery Network (CDN) Manage end-to-end CDN configurations including additions, modifications, and creation of new configurations. Perform CDN platform migrations and manage CDN net storage. Analyze CDN traffic reports and optimize configurations for performance and reliability. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and other web protocols. Solid understanding of web applications, web servers, firewalls, and deployment frameworks. Strong scripting/programming experience in Python and shell scripting. Proficiency with Linux-based operating systems. Ability to make decisions based on company policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications & Experience: ~ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field. ~2–5 years of experience in application security, WAF management, CDN configurations, or a combination of both. ~ Proven experience working with Akamai and CloudFront. ~ Experience with NGINX+ is an added advantage.
