Position: Assistant / Associate / Professor-BFSI
Location: Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Kiwale, Pune
About Symbiosis Skills & Professional University: Symbiosis Skills & Professional University, Maharashtra’s first residential Skills University, was established to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Located on a sprawling 15-acre campus in PCMC - Kiwale area along the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, the university offers state-of-the-art facilities, including academic blocks, hostels, and centers of excellence. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures and practical sessions as per the scheduled workload and teaching plan.
- Contribute to syllabus enrichment and update content to align with current trends and statutory council guidelines.
- Perform examination duties, including evaluation, timely assessment, and result submission.
- Develop and manage lab activities and ensure the practical skill development of students.
- Participate in academic administration, including admissions, internships, and placements.
- Build and nurture industry connections to enhance students' employability and career growth.
- Engage in research activities, publish papers, and guide students in their research projects and presentations.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including software tools, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Attend seminars, conferences, and training to stay updated with industry trends.
- Actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities organized by the university.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
For Assistant Professor:
- Masters with relevant working experience of 5 years in a large conglomerate.*
- B.Tech with relevant working experience of 7 years in a large conglomerate.*
- Ph.D. / Masters / B.Tech with a minimum of 3 patents and 3 years of experience in a start-up.
For Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. with relevant 5 years of experience in a large conglomerate.*
- Masters with relevant working experience of 10 years in a large conglomerate.*
- B.Tech with relevant working experience of 12 years in a large conglomerate.*
- Ph.D. / Masters / B.Tech with a minimum of 5 patents and 3 years of experience in a start-up.
For Professor:
- Ph.D. with relevant 10 years of experience in a large conglomerate.*
- Masters with relevant working experience of 15 years in a large conglomerate.*
- B.Tech with relevant working experience of 17 years in a large conglomerate.*
- Ph.D. / Masters / B.Tech with a minimum of 5 patents and 5 years of experience in a start-up.
