Role OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor in Data Science to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, research experience, and excellent teaching skills.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop innovative teaching practices for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and IT, AI/ML.
- Design and refine course materials and curricula to align with current industry trends.
- Conduct and publish research in recognized journals and conferences.
- Mentor and supervise graduate and doctoral students.
- Foster industry collaborations and contribute to academic and research excellence.
- A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in a recognized academic institution with a good publication record in SCI/Socpus Indexed Journals.
- Research experience in computer science or IT, with a demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in computer science, software engineering, IT, AI, and data science.
- Possessing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, or a closely related field is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to students.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
The estimated salary for this position is ₹20,00,000 - ₹30,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
