We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects. You will help manage timelines, track progress, and ensure smooth communication between teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential to succeed in this role. Mission-Critical Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Task Coordination: Coordinate project tasks and activities, ensuring they are assigned to team members and completed according to schedule. Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Schedule and organize project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, issue logs, change requests, all other project related documents required from time to time. Ensure all project-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and scheduling, ensuring the right team members are assigned to projects based on their skills and availability. Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and address project issues, escalating them to the Project Manager when necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns or issues raised.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. Analyze project data and provide insights to the Project Manager for decision-making purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices to optimize project management and execution.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Assistant Project Manager/ Project Manager or similar role in the IT industry.
Knowledge
- Educational Background (Must Have): Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
Skills
- Solid understanding of project management and Agile principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional skills in fostering and maintaining stakeholder connections.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
