Subject Teacher – Secondary - Geography # Subject Teacher - Middle School - Geography/ Social Science Middle School (Grd 5-7) The primary purpose of a subject teacher is to provide instruction, guidance, and support to the students in specific subject areas. Subject teachers are responsible for designing and delivering lessons, assessing students’ progress, providing feedback, and facilitating learning experience that helps students develop knowledge, skills and understanding. Ensure discipline is maintained in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school Should keep a check on basic hygiene and pay attention to health matters seriously and diligently for each child. Administration / School Policies: Must compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records. Should adhere to all the policies in force/ introduced from time to time and actively implement the same. Should conduct quarterly stock check of the teaching aids along with the coordinator. Should participate in professional development through internal and external courses, seminars, conferences, and events. Interfacing with Principal for academic related issues. Interfacing with Co- teachers and other staff members as and when required. Graduate & Post Graduate Degree in Geography with B. Ed (mandatory) Experience ~1-4 years of relevant experience Organization and Planning Assessment and coaching Proficient in working on MS Office
