Product & UX Director, Operations

Solberry Energy Pvt. Limited, a subsidiary of InSolare Energy Pvt. We’re installing an 800 MW Topcon line (Project Phase-I) to have a total capacity of 900 MW by Nov’2025. The Operations Head – Production will be responsible for end-to-end management of solar module production operations, ensuring targets are met with high efficiency, low scrap, and strict adherence to safety and quality. This role demands strong leadership in managing multi-shift operations, optimizing throughput, and preparing the production team for capacity expansion.
Lead day-to-day planning, scheduling and operations of solar module lines (stringers, layup, laminators, EL/IV testers, Hi-Pot testers, framing & packing lines).
~ Manpower & Shift Planning
Manage and mentor a team of shift supervisors and operators (150+ workforce).
Develop manpower deployment models for current capacity and Phase-2 expansion.
Build skill matrices, conduct training, and promote a culture of accountability.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with cleanroom protocols (dust, humidity, temperature).
Collaborate with Quality team to achieve first-pass yield and zero-defect delivery.
Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, SCM, and EHS teams for smooth line operations.
Provide data-driven reports to Plant Head / President- Operations on production KPIs.
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.
~10–15 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
~ Minimum 5 years of experience in solar module preferred along with continuous/discrete manufacturing.
~ Strong background in production planning, line balancing, and lean systems.
Production planning & execution.
Data-driven mindset (ERP/MES systems).
Focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
