Senior Presales Solution Engineer for US marketSales 3-6 Full Time BengaluruRole OverviewAs a Presales Consultant at Keka HR, you will be the technical and domain expert during the sales cycle.You will engage with prospective customers, understand their HR / people‑ops challenges, mapthose to Keka’s product/features, conduct demos or proofs of concept, and enable the salesteam to close deals. You’ll act as a bridge between Product, Sales, and Customers, ensuringthe proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.Key Responsibilities• Conduct discovery sessions / workshops with prospects to understand their HR systems, processworkflows, technology environment, business needs, and pain points.• Map prospect requirements to Keka’s product modules / marketplace / integration capabilities /APIs & propose tailored solutions.• Deliver product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and custom demos that illustratehow Keka can solve customer problems.• Set up demo and trial instances for prospects and ensure a great experience• Support the sales team in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical proposal requests.• Create technical proposals, statements of work (SoWs), and commercial documentation asneeded.• Clarify non‑functional requirements: infrastructure, security, compliance, data migration,integrations, etc.• Liaise with Product and Engineering teams to gather inputs, clarify feature gaps, and feed backcustomer requirements.• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape in HR tech / HRMS / SaaS, bestpractices, to position product differentiators effectively.• Communicate value propositions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders (HRleaders, Finance, IT, etc.).• Track leads / presales pipeline, ensure documentation is updated in CRM or internal tools.• Occasionally assist in post‑sales handover to ensure smooth transition from presales toimplementation.Skills & Qualifications• Great communication skills• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical/ business degree.• 3‑6 years of experience in pre‑sales / solution consulting / technical sales roles, ideallywithin SaaS / HRMS / HR technology domain.• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, security & compliance requirements.• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; ability to deliver product demosconvincingly.• Able to explain complex technical or HR systems in simple business value terms.• Customer‑facing experience; stakeholder management skills.• Analytical mindset; ability to think through both functionality & technical constraints.• Ability to multi‑task, work under deadlines, respond to RFPs etc.• Prior experience working cross‑functionally with Product / Engineering / Sales teams.Preferred / Nice-to-Have• Experience in US Market is a great plus• Experience with HRMS / HR tech platforms, marketplace/integration ecosystems.• Prior exposure to enterprise customers (medium to large) with complex HR landscapes.• Knowledge of data regulations/privacy (for example, GDPR / local data protection laws).• Experience with technical demos, POCs.• Certifications relevant to SaaS / integrations / cloud infrastructure.What Success Looks Like• Conversion rate of presales engagements → closed deals.• Reduction in sales cycle time by providing clear & early clarifications during presales.• Quality and timeliness of responses to RFIs/RFPs.• High stakeholder / customer satisfaction during presales.• Effective knowledge sharing: capturing recurring requirements, feature‑gap feedback toproduct.Why Join Keka• Opportunity to work in a fast‑growing HR tech SaaS company, where your presalescontributions will directly impact revenue.• Strong ownership and visibility across product, customer, and sales functions.• Collaborative & learning environment; your feedback and insights help shape the productroadmap.
