Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Reporting: Compile, review, and submit regulatory reports in accordance with established deadlines and guidelines. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in regulatory reporting by conducting thorough validations and reconciliations.
  • Regulatory Reporting Analysis: Stay updated with changes in insurance regulations and reporting requirements, and ensure timely implementation of any necessary changes.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, risk
  • management, and legal departments, to gather necessary data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process Enhancement: Analyze complex insurance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in regulatory reporting processes.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of regulatory reporting processes, procedures, and controls.
  • Audit and Examination Support: Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities and assist in regulatory examinations or audits as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on regulatory reporting matters.
  • Participate in special projects or initiatives related to regulatory compliance and reporting as assigned including but not limited to Integration and automations.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the regulatory reporting process. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improved data quality.
  • Audit and Examination Support: Facilitate and support internal and external audits, examinations, and inspections related to regulatory reporting compliance.
  • Conduct periodic assessments to identify potential compliance risks and gaps in regulatory reporting. Develop and implement corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, company secretary, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in regulatory compliance reporting within the financial sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong data management skills, including proficiency in data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data reporting and visualization tools.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
