(FASL)Frontier Alloy Steels Ltd. is a leading Indian foundry and railway component manufacturer, supplying couplers, buffers, bogies, steel castings, investment castings, and metal-bonded rubber products to Indian Railways, wagon builders, and heavy engineering customers. We operate modern manufacturing facilities in Kanpur (U.P.) and Paonta Sahib (H.P.).Position OverviewWe are looking for a proactive HR Officer to handle day-to-day HR operations and administration, and support statutory compliance, employee welfare, and workplace safety practices. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities1) HR Operations & Employee LifecycleMaintain employee records, personal files, and HR databasesIssue offer letters, appointment letters, and manage joining formalitiesHandle onboarding and induction for new employeesSupport employee engagement activities and employee query resolutionAssist with performance appraisal and related HR processes2) Attendance, Leave & HR MISTrack attendance, leaves, and biometric dataPrepare monthly HR MIS reports and maintain workforce recordsMaintain statutory/HR registers: Muster Roll, EL, CL, NF, Adult Register3) Payroll Coordination & Input ValidationCoordinate payroll inputs for new joiners, resignations, salary revisions, deductionsEnsure accurate calculation and validation of salary components such as:Basic, HRA, Allowances, Bonus, Incentives, etc.Work closely with payroll/accounts team to ensure timely and correct processing4) Statutory Compliance & Discipline SupportAssist documentation and coordination for PF, ESI, LWF, GratuitySupport grievance handling, discipline process, and implementation of company policiesHelp ensure compliance with labour laws, Factory Act, and internal policies5) Admin, Facilities & Vendor CoordinationOversee office administration including housekeeping, security, maintenanceManage travel arrangements, guest management, meeting room coordinationMaintain office assets: ID cards, access cards, SIM allocations, equipment assetsMonitor AMCs for equipment (e.g., printers, AC, CCTV)Manage courier/logistics and document dispatch6) Workplace Safety, Health & Welfare (Support Role)Ensure a safe and clean working environment across the facilityConduct regular safety audits/inspections and maintain safety documentationMaintain incident logs, safety registers; support accident/near-miss investigationsEnsure statutory requirements for PPE, machine guarding, fire safety, emergency equipmentCoordinate medical check-ups, health camps, and welfare programsEnsure safety induction is completed for all new joinersSkills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood working knowledge of HR processes + admin operationsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Understanding of PF, ESI, Gratuity, labour complianceAbility to multitask, handle pressure, and coordinate across departmentsOrganized, process-driven, and detail-orientedQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)1–3 years’ experience in HR & AdministrationManufacturing/plant HR exposure preferredHow to ApplyEmail your resume to: @gmail.comWhatsApp: Feel free to tag/share with someone who would be a strong fit.#Hiring #HRJobs #PlantHR #AdminJobs #Compliance #EHS #Manufacturing #HimachalPradesh #PaontaSahib #FrontierAlloySteels
