Role Description
1. Preparation:
Morning Briefings: Lead daily team briefings to align the team on the day’s objectives, roles, and expectations.
•Stock Presentation: Ensure the team is well-informed about the available stock and new arrivals, facilitating efficient styling decisions and creativity.
•Team Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to track performance, promote skill development, and address any challenges or concerns.
•Team Allocation: Assign roles to team members based on their strengths, ensuring they are in the right positions to support client interactions and daily operations.
2. Performance and Operations:
•Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee operations during client visits, ensuring the right team members are in the right places, performing their roles effectively, and providing high-quality service.
•Client Interface: Work directly with clients and collaborate with the team to ensure seamless interactions, meeting client needs while balancing operational efficiency.
•CCS Implementation: Implement and strengthen Dazzles’ custom-crafted (CCS) process to ensure the team delivers exceptional client service, enhancing customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
•Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Planning: Develop and implement plans for continuous department excellence, boosting team morale, and fostering a positive work culture.
3. Team Development and Mentorship:
•Genuine Mentorship: Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization. Show genuine concern for their success, offering constructive feedback and growth opportunities.
•Support Career Progression: Create an environment that encourages learning, development, and advancement, ensuring team members are motivated and empowered to grow within the company
4. Post-Performance Reports:
•Consultant Reports: Maintain detailed reports on the performance of every team member in the department.
•Performance Reviews: Regularly review team members’ performance based on these reports, conducting meetings to provide feedback, set new goals, and discuss development plans.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration:
•Collaborate with other department heads to ensure smooth coordination across functions, particularly in client-facing interactions, to optimize overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- Expertise in bridal styling, fashion design, and trend forecasting
- Experience in leading a styling team and coordinating styling projects
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, and garment construction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative flair and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in the bridal or fashion industry is a plus
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field
