Job Title: Academic Operations Associate Position Overview: The Academic Operations role is integral to ensuring the seamless functioning of academic programs within an educational institution. This position involves overseeing administrative processes, coordinating academic activities, and supporting faculty and students to enhance the overall educational experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administrative Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for academic operations. Manage academic calendars, course schedules, and room assignments. Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of academic materials and communications. 2. Data Management and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on academic performance data. Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and grades. Prepare reports for accreditation bodies and internal stakeholders. 3. Faculty and Student Support: Serve as a liaison between faculty, students, and administrative departments. Coordinate faculty recruitment, onboarding, and professional development activities. Assist students with academic advising, registration, and other support services. 4. Event and Project Coordination: Plan and execute academic events such as orientations, workshops, and seminars. Manage academic projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with institutional goals. 5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to academic policies, regulations, and accreditation standards. Conduct regular audits of academic processes to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in academic administration or a related role. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS).
