Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Draftsman with a strong background in the ship design and building industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have extensive experience reading 2D construction drawings and converting them into 3D CAD models. A solid understanding of engineering outfitting systems is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret 2D construction & layout drawings.
Converting 2D drawings into 3D drawings & models.
Should have the knowledge of marine terms
Need experience/knowledge in 3D modelling of vessels & its equipment’s
Collaborate with engineers and designers to create detailed ship layouts.
Ensure all drawings and 3D models meet industry specifications and standards.

Required Skills and Qualification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship structure & outfitting design
Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD with 2D & 3D.
Proven experience in engineering outfitting systems.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Diploma/ Degree in any engineering discipline

Preferred Skills and Qualification
Experience with Rhino 3D software is highly desirable. Candidates with proficiency in Rhino 3D will have a distinct advantage as we look to integrate this tool into our design process.
Experience with MS Office
Certification in CAD is preferable
