Job Title: Marine DraftsmanSeniority Level: Middle/SeniorYears of Relevant Experience: 3+yrsDepartment: Naval ArchitectReporting Organization: Our CompanyEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: KochiJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Marine Draftsman with a strong background in the ship design and construction industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 3 D modelling software (experience with Rhinoceros is preferred) and possess the ability to interpret 2 D construction drawings and accurately convert them into detailed 3 D CAD models. A solid understanding of engineering outfitting systems is required.Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret 2 D construction & layout drawings.- Converting 2 D drawings into 3 D models.- Prepare 2 D of ship tank plans, cargo spaces and ship views.- Develop 3 D models to support the development and configuration of our in-house software solutions.Required Skills and Qualification- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship structure & outfitting design- Should have the knowledge of marine terms- Proven experience in marine outfitting systems.- Command of the English language, both written and verbal.- Diploma/ Degree in any engineering disciplinePreferred Skills and Qualification- Experience with 3 D CAD system is highly desirable.- Candidates with proficiency in Rhino 3 D will have a distinct advantage as it is the primary inhouse CAD tool.- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)Why Join UsAt Admaren, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of maritime technology.
