The ideal candidate will manage financial data with accuracy, ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, and support smooth day-to-day accounting operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and processbills in Hubdoc , ensuring accuracy and correct codingMatch and reconciletransactions withbank statements in XeroMaintain and updategeneral ledger accountsConductbank and credit card reconciliationsTrack accounts payable and ensure timely vendor paymentsAssist with monthly and year-end closing processesMonitor and resolve discrepancies promptlySupport document management and organization within HubdocGenerate and review financial reports as neededCollaborate with internal team on financial queries and compliance requirementsRequirementsProven experience as aBookkeeperor in a similar accounting roleProficient in Xeroaccounting softwareHands-on experience with HubdocStrong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principlesExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entryAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsCertificate or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related fieldExperience working with SMEs, contractors, or professional service businesses (optional—adjust based on your company)Familiarity with additional cloud-based accounting tools
