Senior Packaging Development Associate ( with FMCG expertise )
Job Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for development of Packaging of New Products in line with relevant market objectives and provide appropriate support to manufacturing.
Responsible for maintaining and improving the Packaging of existing products through value engineering, better machine-ability and ease of sourcing.
Cost control and efficiency improvement.
Focus on sustainability packaging
Identifying and validating the right strategic packaging suppliers with respect to quality, innovation, cost and reliability.
Vendor audit , development and support to procurement for long term partnerships with suppliers.
Quality Improvement projects & compliance.
Creation and maintenance of Packaging specifications, technical component drawings & other related documents.
Co-ordination with internal functions such as Marketing, Procurement, R& D, QA, Engineering, Production to build a partnership that ensures business strategies are integrated and implemented.
Qualifications:
Post Graduates from Indian Institute of Packaging, or any recognized Packaging Institute with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a reputed FMCG or Cosmetics company.
Note : For a Manager position : minimum 8 years of experience. For a Team member Below position : 2-5 yrs experience is sufficient.
Desired Skills:
Exposure to FMCG / Personal care / Cosmetics Packaging Development.
Innovative with a passion of delivering fresh Packaging solutions.
Subject knowledge on different materials & processes.
Cost Management with a view to deliver technical cost savings innovation.
Independent Project driver & good team manager
Flexible & Adaptable
People Management
Good communication skills.
