Job Description – ServiceNow Developer / ConsultantExperience: (5–10 Years)Employment Type: Full-timeRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer/Consultant with deep expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) modules and hands-on skills in customization, scripting, and integrations. The role requires strong technical proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including workflows, automation, APIs, and Service Portal customization.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, configure, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform.- Work extensively across ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management.- Develop and modify Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.- Create and support REST integrations and develop custom APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.- Customize and enhance the Service Portal to improve user experience and service delivery.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices for maintainability, scalability, and performance.- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving platform-related issues.- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and releases.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules: Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management.- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting components: Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.- Experience with REST integrations and developing custom APIs within ServiceNow.- Hands-on expertise in Service Portal customization and development.- Knowledge of ServiceNow data structures, ACLs, and security best practices.- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.- Preferred: ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM.
