What You'll Do:
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive Snowflake Administrator with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, and integration of Snowflake within our Azure ecosystem, ensuring high availability, scalability, and data governance.
- Provide support to data engineering and analytics teams.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and DevOps.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Snowflake Administration:Provision, configure, and manage Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and users.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage usage, and query efficiency.
- Implement and manage data sharing, replication, and failover strategies.Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake scripting and tools.
- Azure Cloud Integration:Integrate Snowflake with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, and Azure Key Vault.Manage data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows between Snowflake and Azure.
