What You'll Do:

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive Snowflake Administrator with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, and integration of Snowflake within our Azure ecosystem, ensuring high availability, scalability, and data governance.
• Provide support to data engineering and analytics teams.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and DevOps.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Snowflake Administration:Provision, configure, and manage Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and users.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, storage usage, and query efficiency.
• Implement and manage data sharing, replication, and failover strategies.Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake scripting and tools.
• Azure Cloud Integration:Integrate Snowflake with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, and Azure Key Vault.Manage data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows between Snowflake and Azure.
• Ensure secure connectivity and data transfer using Azure Private Link, VNet integration, and IAM roles.
• Security & Compliance:Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) strategies to manage user permissions and data access.
• Develop and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) and Column-Level Security (CLS) policies to ensure granular data protection.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Conduct regular audits and manage encryption keys and secrets.
• Monitoring & Support:Set up monitoring and alerting for Snowflake usage and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data access, performance, and integration.
