Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions to support business operations, while optimizing and troubleshooting systems to ensure performance and reliability. This role requires close collaboration with developers and end-users, and a focus on enhancing application efficiency through continuous improvement and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Design & Optimization: Design stable and efficient databases to meet application and user needs; modify databases as required and conduct thorough testing.
  • Legacy System Maintenance: Optimize and maintain existing legacy databases, ensuring their stability and performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot database usage issues and malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
  • Application Enhancement: Work with developers to enhance applications and implement best practices for database usage.
  • User Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with users to gather requirements and identify new database features to improve functionality.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, training materials, and user manuals.
  • User Support: Provide data management support to end-users and resolve technical queries.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay updated on new database technologies, products, services, and protocols, and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Database Developer.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle and Postgres databases.
  • Proficiency in ClickHouse database, Oracle BI Publisher, and JasperSoft reports is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Database development expertise, particularly with Oracle and Postgres.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher and JasperSoft.
  • Proficiency in ClickHouse for data storage and analysis.
  • Solid foundation in programming languages, especially Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to meeting company performance standards.
