We trade across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues using a gamut of concepts and techniques ranging from time series analysis, filtering, classification, stochastic models, pattern recognition to statistical inference analysing terabytes of data to come up with ideas to identify pricing anomalies in financial markets.
About the Role: As a Python Developer, you will be integral to our mission of optimizing and automating various aspects of our trading operations, financial processes, and core engineering functions. You will design, build, and maintain robust Python-based tools and systems that support our trading strategies, financial reporting, and technical infrastructure. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions that drive our firm's success.
Responsibilities:
-Develop, design and maintain robust Python-based tools and systems that support our trading strategies, financial reporting, and technical infrastructure.
-Ensure systems are robust, scalable, and meet the performance demands of high-frequency trading environment.
-Contribute to continuous improvement of our infrastructure and tooling to enhance the speed and reliability of trading strategies
-Write unit tests and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including devops and infrastructure engineers, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of trading systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields.
Experience: Proven experience as a Python Developer. (Experience in high-frequency trading or financial technology environment would be an added advantage)
Required skills:
-Over 1 year of experience in Python, with experience in relevant libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, pandas
-Proficiency in handling and processing large datasets, with a solid understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
-Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
-Excellent problem-solving skills
-Good understanding of Linux
-Excellent communication skills as this role requires interfacing with multiple teams within Graviton.

-Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
