Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and Django.- Implement and manage RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework.- Integrate third-party services and APIs, including AWS (boto3), O Auth, and Payment Gateways.- Utilize various libraries and frameworks such as Pillow, psycopg2, and sqlparse to enhance application functionality.- Ensure application security using JWT and other security best practices.- Optimize application performance using tools like Gunicorn and Whitenoise.- Manage and deploy applications using Docker and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.- Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs.- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.- 4+ years of experience in Python development with a strong focus on Django.- Proficiency in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and experience with psycopg2-binary.- Experience with Django Rest Framework and building RESTful APIs.- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT.- Experience with AWS services (boto3, botocore) and managing cloud infrastructure.- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
