Job Purpose for Project Manager:
As product manager, you’ll play a crucial role in solving problems for our customers to deliver value for them and help build a sustainable business for DMI Finance.
This role will cover the overall vision and execution for the digital platforms such as DMI mobile app, website and zest platforms. This role will work in the teams working together to improve customer experience, making the platforms relevant for customers during the lending relationship and beyond.
Key Accountabilities:
Define, Build and Execute on Roadmap
- Build and deliver product roadmap same through cross-functional execution and collaboration. Set well defined metrics, key results to track the performance of various initiatives for these Platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, customer service team, operations, marketing and other stakeholders in solutioning and prioritizing these concepts and programs.
- Partner with engineering, and other stakeholders to scope and build features that solve and create new opportunities.
- Work to ensure onboarding customers for new products such as Cards, Insurance, Loans etc. are done timely.
- Experimentation to drive outcomes: Carry out small experiments and iterate the solutions thereby creating business impact.
Customer insights and analytics
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Determine customers' needs and desires by speaking with customers and conducting research needed to obtain market information.
- Collect and analyze feedback from end-users, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
- Speak to customers regularly for new and existing needs
Product Analytics / Research
- Form and test hypothesis using data from in built analytics, funnels, database & other sources.
- Conduct market research and develop insights into user behavior especially around user needs to improve existing products.
- Track product adoption, funnel conversions, A/B tests and optimize them to achieve business and product objectives.
Competition Research
- Conduct research on fintech and other competitive developments in the ecosystem in India or global.
- Ideate basis the research on new functionalities / products to be built.
Work Experience
- Proven experience of 3-8 years in product management, ideally from financial services- fintech, banks, NBFC or B2C companies.
- Experience in building and scaling engagement and repeat usage behaviour for financial and non-financial services.
- Experience in running rigorous A/B tests across desktop, mobile web, and apps.

Skills & Proficiencies
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify key opportunities and measure impact to drive improved customer experiences
- You are technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions alike
- Strong skills on writing a good QA plan
- Good proficiency in hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration.
- Well versed with Wire framing, feature specifications and detailing, writing/reviewing user stories and Product Management (driving usage, optimization, etc.) on both Web and Apps.
- Have a good understanding of Statistics, proficiency in using data (at scale) and understands how Tech Platforms function for a large scale business.
- Good working knowledge of basic statistics, SQL, Mobile Apps and SEO.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI and how they make a difference in the user journey. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, Balsamiq, or similar is a plus.
