About the Role:Responsibilities: Drive the real estate and urban infrastructure vertical initiatives independently and responsive for day-to-day engagements with membersRevenue Generation: Drive revenue generation through sponsorship acquisition, membership growth, and other initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, government officials, and committee members to advance organizational interests.Policy Advocacy and Research: Advocate for favorable policies and regulations that promote growth in the real estate and urban sector, supported by rigorous research and analysis.Event Management: Responsible for planning and execution of conferences, workshops, and other events, in terms of program preparation, delegate mobilization, invitation letters, backdrop, flyers, audio visual coordination, thankyou emailers, amongst others and ensuring their success and financial viability.International Engagement: Facilitate international business delegations and foster global partnerships to enhance business opportunities and promote industry collaboration.Administration: Understanding of administrative and logistics work associated for organizing an event.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Responsible for P&L of the department and maintain 3X of bottom line.Writing research reports, create proposals, policy related work, content generation for all event related work (concepts, website content, prog content, post event reports, minutes of the meeting, etc.). Preparing agenda for committee meetings of the department and building excellent relationships with office bearers and committee members.Responsible for generating revenue through sponsorships and FICCI membership for various activities with new & existing members.Build and maintain a database of industry stakeholders for promotion and investment. Onboarding new members for FICCI and maintaining relationships with the existing one’s Managing government relations, policy & regulatory affairs, corporate strategy, and business development Arranging high-level closed-door interaction aimed to have a focused outcome.Managing International business delegations, arranging G2B and B2B meetings for them and follow up over the possible business engagements/ conversions.Interaction with the key infrastructure stalwarts on a regular basis for timely inputs and recommendationsWorking with the industry to create the right policies to promote growth trajectory of the sector.Manage social media branding and its effective execution.Coordination with speakers and delegate mobilization; developing post show report. Keep a close eye on recent government announcements (policies, regulations, amendments and develop FICCI inputs/recommendations for their consideration.Competencies:Technical (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude):Report Writing and Presentation Skills: Ability to craft well-researched and articulate reports and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences.Research and Analysis: Proficiency in conducting thorough industry research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.Event Management and Revenue Generation: Skill in organizing conferences, workshops, and other events, with a focus on generating revenue through marketing strategies and sponsorships.Stakeholder Management: Capability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including industry partners, government officials, and committee members.Budget and Account Management: Competence in managing event budgets, accounts, and financial resources effectively.Real Estate and Urban Development Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the real estate and urban development industry, including its key players, regulations, and emerging trends, is advantageous.MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS)Generic / ManagerialStrategic Planning: Skill in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and drive growth.Relationship Building: Capacity to establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.Business Development: Experience in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, including sponsorship acquisition and membership drives.Policy Advocacy: Expertise in engaging with government agencies and advocating for policies that benefit the organization and its stakeholders.Initiatives: Self-driven professional with a positive mindset and passion.Take up initiatives pro-actively with an integrated approach (look at it from end to end)
