Net Backend Developer with proven experience in RESTful API development and system integration. This role requires a deep understanding of backend systems, API management, and integration workflows within enterprise environments. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering scalable backend services for a leading client headquartered in Australia with operations across South Africa and New Zealand.
This is a remote, full-time position offering significant exposure to international projects and cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using the .Net framework (.Net Core/.Net 6+).
Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to ensure seamless delivery of features.
Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
Adhere to best practices in coding, testing, and security protocols.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
~3–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using .Net Core or later versions.
~ Solid understanding of integration patterns and middleware technologies.
~ Proficient with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
~ Experience with version control systems such as Git.
~ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
~ Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
