ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Backend Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of backend developers, driving the design and development of scalable and secure backend systems. You will play a pivotal role in shaping architecture, mentoring developers, and ensuring high-quality delivery across cloud-native applications.

What You’ll Be Doing 💼🛠️:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, providing technical guidance, conducting regular code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure backend services using C# and the .NET framework.

• Architect, build, and maintain APIs for mobile applications, ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness.

• Work within the Azure platform to deploy, manage, and monitor backend services, optimizing for cost, scalability, and reliability.

• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes, guiding junior developers in best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product managers, QA, etc.) to define objectives and deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.

• Conduct technical evaluations of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, architectural standards, and project timelines.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing robust, scalable solutions.

• Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and blob stores, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance, guiding junior developers in root cause analysis and resolution strategies.

• Stay current with emerging technologies in web application development, containerization, and cloud services, sharing knowledge with the team.

What We’re Looking For 🔍👨💻:

• Proven experience in backend development with C# and .NET.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of API design, cloud architecture, and data storage solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Passion for continuous learning and team development.
