Mid-Level PL/SQL Developer (3+ years) Responsibilities: Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain robust PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data architects, to gather requirements and propose solutions that align with business objectives. Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis and create comprehensive reports that meet business needs, utilizing advanced SQL techniques for data extraction and manipulation. Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to services and operations. Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Senior PL/SQL Developer (7+ years) Responsibilities: Leadership in Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex PL/SQL applications, overseeing all phases of the software development lifecycle. Business Analysis & Architecture Definition: Conduct complex business analysis to understand requirements and define the architecture of applications, ensuring that database structures effectively support business logic and workflows. Architectural Design: Define and design the overall architecture of applications, ensuring optimal integration with existing systems and compliance with industry standards. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices, coding standards, and a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed to specification and on schedule. Advanced Optimization: Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization on large datasets, applying expertise to improve efficiency and reduce processing time. Solutioning & Recommendations: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance development processes and improve overall project outcomes, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications (for both Mid and Senior Levels): Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred for senior candidates. Mid-Level: 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development; Senior: 7+ years with a focus on business analysis, solutioning, architecting, and client interaction. Strong expertise in Oracle databases, including advanced PL/SQL features and functions. Proven experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting in complex database environments. Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
