Mid-Level PL/SQL Developer (3+ Years)


Role & responsibilities

  • Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures for critical applications.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop tailored database solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced SQL techniques to extract, manipulate, and report data that aligns with business objectives.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database-related issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, validation, and thorough documentation, following industry best practices.


Preferred candidate profile


  • 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle databases, with advanced knowledge of PL/SQL features.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation using advanced SQL techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.



Senior PL/SQL Developer (7+ Years)


Role & responsibilities


  • Leadership in Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of complex PL/SQL applications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Business Analysis & Architecture: Perform in-depth business analysis to understand requirements and define the architectural design of database applications, aligning with business goals and workflows.
  • Architectural Design: Define and design scalable and efficient database architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, code quality, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact with business stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Advanced Optimization: Drive performance tuning and optimization efforts for large datasets, ensuring optimal application performance.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure project satisfaction.


Preferred candidate profile


  • 7+ years of PL/SQL development experience, including a focus on business analysis, solutioning, and architecture.
  • Proven experience in leading projects, managing teams, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Expertise in advanced database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.



Required Qualifications (Both Levels):

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred for senior candidates).
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases and PL/SQL scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
