Job Details: Job Title: Buyer Experience: 4-6 years Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering Key Responsibilities: 1.Procurement of Chemicals: Manage the procurement of various chemicals, resins, and media required to produce pharmaceuticals and bio pharmaceuticals, including vaccines, QC labs, and R&D labs. This includes sourcing from Europe, China, the US, etc., with a spend base of ₹150 Cr. Source impurities, columns, and consumables. Source clinical services for new molecule development and external testing of existing products. Convert Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO) based on techno-commercial recommendations within SLA. Ensure timely delivery of goods through effective follow-up and coordination with vendors and end-users. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project tracking and execution. 2. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, focusing on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any quality or delivery issues. 3.Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Regularly evaluate supplier performance and address any issues that arise. 4.Compliance: Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and industry regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
