Job Description
The ideal candidate must be proficient in preparing detailed HVAC drawings using CAD and related software, with experience in pharmaceutical and cleanroom environments. The candidate should have excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other team members.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, including RCP, ducting, refrigerant piping, and equipment placement, for pharmaceutical facilities.
Develop sectional drawings and schematics for air distribution systems.
Create and update HVAC drawings based on inputs from engineers and project requirements.
Prepare as-built drawings and ensure all documentation is updated to reflect design changes.
Coordinate with engineers to resolve design discrepancies and incorporate feedback.
Assist in the preparation of GFC drawings and coordination drawings for execution purposes.
Collaborate with other services (Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) to ensure proper integration and avoid clashes.
Maintain and organize project drawing files and related documentation.
Support the team in creating BOQs and tender documentation by providing necessary inputs.
Regularly communicate with the project team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Certification in Drafting/Design.
Experience
3 to 5 Years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman, preferably in pharmaceutical or cleanroom projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools; knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
