We are looking for an HR Expert in Bengaluru on a short-term basis for 6-12 months for one of our clients, an aerospace component manufacturing company which is part of a reputed Group in India.
Role Summary
The HR Expert will work closely with the CHRO to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, and industrial relations. The incumbent will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Workforce Planning
Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to meet short- and long-term business needs.
Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate future workforce trends and requirements.
Optimize workforce productivity through resource allocation and skills development.
Talent Acquisition
Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels, particularly in niche technical areas.
Build and maintain a strong employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice.
Streamline recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Performance Management
Partner with leadership to design and implement performance management systems that drive accountability and excellence.
Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, and developmental feedback cycles.
Leverage data analytics to identify and address performance trends.
Talent Management
Design and execute talent management frameworks for employee development, succession planning, and career progression.
Foster a culture of continuous learning by introducing robust training and development programs.
Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a progressive workplace.
Industrial Relations
Maintain harmonious industrial relations by engaging with unions and resolving grievances proactively.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
Develop and implement policies and practices that support a stable and productive workforce.
HR Governance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to all HR policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor HR metrics to track the effectiveness of initiatives and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct audits and resolve compliance issues.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
Experience: 15–20 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the engineering, aerospace, or auto-components manufacturing industry.
Proven expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, and industrial relations.
Hands-on experience in managing large-scale HR transformation initiatives.
Skills and Competencies
Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to navigate complex industrial relations scenarios with tact and diplomacy.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR data analytics and technology.
