We at Coforge are hiring a P&C Insurance Project Manager with the following skillset:
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management & Delivery : Manage large-scale projects within the P&C Insurance domain, ensuring successful delivery using Agile methodologies.
Set up and manage a well-structured project team (pod) to execute tasks effectively.
Work closely with the Scrum Master to ensure readiness for execution, including environment setup, user story preparation, and team alignment.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the environment is ready, DevOps processes are in place, and user stories are well-defined and ready for execution.
Risk & Issue Management : Drive the team’s progress through regular calls and meetings, addressing risks, issues, and blockers promptly.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to prevent negative impacts on project timelines or costs.
Escalate issues when necessary, ensuring swift resolution to maintain project momentum.
Timeline and Budget Management : Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Build and maintain a dependencies matrix, tracking deliverables and managing milestones, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
Track and report on project costs, ensuring that the project remains within budget.
Scope and Change Control Management : Oversee change control management, including scope changes, schedule adjustments, and cost updates.
Obtain approval for scope changes and communicate revised timelines, schedules, and costs to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Team Leadership & Conflict Resolution : Manage and motivate the project team, ensuring alignment toward common goals.
Resolve team conflicts, fostering a collaborative and productive environment to drive project success.
Progress Tracking & Reporting : Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and track the overall progress of the project.
Regularly present progress/status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
Professional Attributes :
Experience : Minimum of 8 years of professional experience managing large-scale projects, specifically within the P&C Insurance domain.
Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Skills : Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex project details to stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team towards achieving project goals and objectives.
Solid experience with project management processes, Agile methodologies, and best practices for delivering projects on time and within scope.
