Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Surat Job Summary: We are seeking a talented 3 years+ Node.js Developer to join our team and build robust, secure, and high-performance backend APIs for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable APIs, implementing secure authentication methods, and optimizing performance. Familiarity with Shopify API integration is a plus. If you’re passionate about crafting seamless backend systems for mobile apps, we’d love to meet you Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT). Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Ensure the security of backend services through robust data protection protocols. Collaborate with mobile app developers to define API requirements and system interactions. Optimize application performance for responsiveness and reliability. Integrate and work with external APIs, with a preference for Shopify API adoption. Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Expertise with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js. Solid understanding of REST API design and development principles. Experience in mobile app backend development, with a focus on performance and security. Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT) and session management. Strong knowledge of database design and experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Familiarity with Shopify API or experience working with eCommerce APIs is highly desirable. Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest. Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
