Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Surat Job Summary: We are seeking a talented 3 years+ Node.js Developer to join our team and build robust, secure, and high-performance backend APIs for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable APIs, implementing secure authentication methods, and optimizing performance. Familiarity with Shopify API integration is a plus. If you’re passionate about crafting seamless backend systems for mobile apps, we’d love to meet you Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. - Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT). - Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices. - Ensure the security of backend services through robust data protection protocols. - Collaborate with mobile app developers to define API requirements and system interactions. - Optimize application performance for responsiveness and reliability. - Integrate and work with external APIs, with a preference for Shopify API adoption. - Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Expertise with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js. - Solid understanding of REST API design and development principles. - Experience in mobile app backend development, with a focus on performance and security. - Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT) and session management. - Strong knowledge of database design and experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). - Familiarity with Shopify API or experience working with eCommerce APIs is highly desirable. - Proficiency with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Familiarity with GraphQL APIs. - Knowledge of caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
