Position Description
The Senior accounting executive is responsible for bookkeeping and general accounting activities. We are looking for talented individuals to be part of our dynamic team. The role would include working closely with business and finance stakeholders to ensure timely closure of the books of accounts by performing the below activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that accounting entries are done in the books of accounts on a day-to-day basis.
- Processing of monthly payroll.
- Preparation of monthly MIS report.
- Filing of monthly GST returns, GST refund applications, annual GST returns.
- Providing audit support services including preparation of financial statements to ensure the timely completion of audit.
- Preparation of monthly sales invoice workings and coordination with the US finance team to ensure that the invoices are sent to the clients on a timely basis.
- Ensuring that accounts receivables are received on time, including regular follow-up of overdue invoices.
- Coordinate with the admin and HR teams to ensure that the bills/invoices are duly maintained and accounted for.
- Ensure that the company is duly complying with various labor law return filings such as PF, PT, ESI etc.
Qualifications
- B.Com or relevant accounting qualification
- 2-4 years of experience in core accounting and related fields.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
- Strong knowledge of payroll.
- Working knowledge of GST and income tax is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of transfer pricing is required.
- Strong analytical abilities and good communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- High proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently.
