Accounts Assistant (Spanish Language) - Mumbai

Are you skilled in accounts payable and receivable processes? Do you have proficiency in Spanish and an eye for detail? We’re looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant in Mumbai who can support our accounting functions while communicating effectively in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:


Accounts Payable:

  • Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Match invoices with purchase orders or other documentation.
  • Data Entry : Accurately enter vendor details, invoice numbers, amounts, and payment terms in our accounting software. Manage weekly bank entries for vendor payments.
  • Vendor Setup & Management : Handle new vendor requests, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain vendor records.
  • Reconciliation : Regularly reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Expense Reporting : Review employee expense reports and process reimbursements.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and documentation for audits.


Accounts Receivable:

  • Invoice Processing : Prepare monthly sales invoices based on sales trackers.
  • Data Entry : Enter customer information and invoice details accurately and timely.
  • Bank Receipts : Weekly payment receipt entries to monitor outstanding balances.
  • Reporting : Generate weekly debtors aging reports.
  • Customer Setup : Collaborate with departments for accurate customer creation.
  • Reconciliation : Regularly reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and support audits.
  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve AP/AR processes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with purchasing, finance, and other teams.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Language Skills : Proficiency in Spanish (reading and writing).
  • Experience in accounting, particularly in AP/AR processes.
  • Strong attention to detail , organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
