Position: Business Analyst – Fund AccountingExperience: 5–8 yearsLocation: Nariman Point, MumbaiRole OverviewWe are hiring a Business Analyst with strong fund accounting expertise to design and support technology solutions for asset managers, custodians, and fund administrators. This role requires hands-on knowledge of NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting, combined with the ability to translate workflows into scalable product features.Key Responsibilities• Fund Accounting Expertise: Document workflows for NAV calculation, accruals, corporate actions, reconciliations, and expense management.• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure solutions meet SEBI, AIF, and global fund accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).• Technology Design: Translate accounting processes into functional requirements for development teams.• Client Support: Work with asset managers and fund administrators to align workflows with client needs.• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in reconciliation, valuation, and reporting.• Analytics & Reporting: Deliver insights and dashboards for performance measurement and compliance monitoring.Qualifications & SkillsMandatory:• 5–8 years in Capital Markets/Asset Management, with at least 2 years in Fund Accounting.• Strong knowledge of NAV calculation, reconciliation, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.• Experience in process documentation, gap analysis, and workflow design.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred:• Certifications: CFA, CPA, FRM, IIBA.• Familiarity with fund accounting systems (e.g., Multifonds, Sungard, Investran).• Skills in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Jira, Confluence.Why Join Abans Group• Be part of a leading financial services ecosystem with exposure to global capital markets.• Opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology innovation.• Shape the future of custody and post-trade services with AI-driven initiatives.• Collaborative culture with strong focus on learning, growth, and leadership.
