SOCH works proactively to drive systemic change in communities and provide meaningful support to vulnerable children and youth.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Doctor to support the Mobile Health Unit project in Bhubaneswar. As a Doctor, you will provide primary healthcare services and treatment, conduct health check-ups, and oversee the provision of medical care to communities served by the Mobile Health Unit. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, offering guidance on disease prevention, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with medical and ethical standards. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address community health needs and ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services on-site.QualificationsPossess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and valid medical registrationDemonstrated ability to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medicationsStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care, empathy, and effective communicationOrganizational and administrative skills for record-keeping and reportingExperience in public health, community outreach, or working with children is an advantageAbility to adapt to dynamic community environments and work on-siteCommitment to working towards child welfare and promoting healthy communities
