>>About E&S Advisory Team
The Education and Skill Development practice of KPMG in India comprise a team of experience professional who deliver forward-looking advisory services across the spectrum such as K-12 education including early childhood care and education (ECCE), foundation literacy and numeracy skills, technical and vocational education, and training (TVET), higher education, education technology and supplementary education. The team has delivered multiple engagement in the past catering to a wide range of clients from the central and state governments, regulators, public and private educational institutions, corporates, not for profit organizations etc. The team has worked on the ground across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa – apart from India.
>>Job Summary:
Account Management Analysts are responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships, ensuring
the effective delivery of learning solutions projects and supporting business growth within this team. They will be
supported by Account Managers; where required they will also support with instructional design (ID) and business
development (BD) functions- in an ancillary capacity.
A highly organized individual with strong communication and analytical skills will thrive in this role; especially one
who can manage multiple accounts and proactively address client needs.
>>Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships with both new and existing accounts.
• Understand client goals and challenges, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
• Conduct regular client check-ins, reviews, and feedback sessions to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Account Strategy and Growth:
• Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling learning solutions and services to existing clients.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize client retention and growth.
• Analyze client performance data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations that align with client objectives.
3. Project Management and Delivery Oversight:
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of learning solutions, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor and manage all aspects of the client journey, ensuring successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot any issues and act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to resolve challenges swiftly and effectively.
4. Data-Driven Client Consultation:
• Support with providing clients with regular reports and insights, using data to guide decision-making and optimize the performance of their learning solutions.
• Identify and recommend strategic improvements based on analysis of client usage patterns, engagement, and feedback.
• Prepare and present performance reports, demonstrating the value of the partnership and areas for future development.
5. Collaboration with Instructional Design (ID) and Business Development (BD):
• Support the instructional design team, as required, to ensure client requirements are clearly
communicated and reflected in the learning solutions.
• Support the business development teams, as required, to identify new opportunities within existing accounts and assist with new client acquisition when necessary.
• Support BD efforts by providing insights and feedback from clients that can help shape future proposals and business strategies.
>>Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 months + of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in any related field.
• Internship experience in account management, preferably within the start-up, ed-tech, or learning solutions sector.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and build trust with clients.
• Adept at identifying issues and delivering creative solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, including instructional design, business
development, compliance, and marketing.
• Focused on client success, with a proactive approach to building long-lasting relationships and driving client satisfaction.
• Flexible in approach, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Desirable:
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to clients for optimizing their performance.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and support account management activities.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced professional environment
