Job Title: Manager – International Business / International Patient Services Department: Marketing & Business Development Location: Even Hospital, Racecourse Road Bangalore Reporting To: Head – Marketing & Revenue Job Summary: The Manager – International Business is responsible for driving the hospital’s international patient inflow by developing strategic partnerships, managing referral networks, and promoting hospital services across international markets. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing overseas patient relationships, and ensuring seamless service delivery for international patients from enquiry to discharge. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Partnerships Develop and execute business strategies to attract patients from international markets (Middle East, Africa, SAARC, etc.). Build and maintain relationships with medical travel agencies, embassies, corporates, and insurance partners abroad. Identify and onboard international referral partners and facilitators. Coordinate with overseas representatives or tie-up offices for patient acquisition and relationship management. Marketing & Promotion Plan and implement international marketing campaigns, roadshows, and doctor visits to target countries. Manage hospital participation in international health expos and medical tourism events. Develop country-specific marketing materials, brochures, and digital campaigns. Work closely with consultants to promote key specialties and clinical expertise internationally. Patient Coordination & Experience Oversee end-to-end coordination for international patients — from initial enquiry, visa assistance, travel arrangements, to hospital admission and discharge. Ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients and their families, including post-discharge follow-up. Liaise with hospital operations, finance, and clinical teams to meet international patient expectations. Analytics & Reporting Monitor and report international patient volumes, revenue, and country-wise performance. Analyze referral trends and develop action plans to improve conversion rates. Maintain and update the international patient database and referral partner CRM. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements for international patients (FRRO, visa, billing). Coordinate with internal departments for accurate and transparent communication of treatment costs and timelines. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Healthcare Management, International Business, or related field. 5–10 years of experience in hospital international marketing / medical tourism. Experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital is essential. Exposure to international healthcare markets, particularly Africa, GCC, or SAARC regions, preferred. Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and negotiation skills (knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage). Strong networking and relationship management capabilities. In-depth understanding of international patient needs and cultural sensitivities. Ability to manage end-to-end patient coordination efficiently. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms. Willingness to travel internationally as required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Growth in international patient volumes and revenue. Number of active international referral partnerships. Conversion rate from enquiry to admission. Patient satisfaction and feedback scores. ROI from international marketing activities and campaigns.
