The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications- Develop and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools- Execute automated test suites and analyze results- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines- Perform API testing, regression testing, and smoke testing- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for testability- Ensure test coverage for functional, integration, and regression scenarios- Continuously improve test processes and automation efficiencyRequired Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Strong experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, Java Script, or C#- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)- Knowledge of manual testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git)- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.)- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood to Have (Preferred Skills)- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow)- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner)- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)- Experience testing microservices architectures- Knowledge of Docker/KubernetesSoft Skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Proactive and continuous learner
