Sr. staff automotive system solution engineer

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Automotive System Solutions Engineer to join Renesas High Performance Computing Solutions Group. The ideal candidate will play an important role to define and develop the system solutions for particular automotive applications, such as automotive x EV and Zone. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive automotive system solution such as x EV (Inverter, BMS and OBC/DCDC) and Zone Design and validate system architectures that meet automotive industry standards and common customer requirements Collaborate with MCU marketing and engineering teams to define the requirements of hardware and software, specifications, and standards for the automotive x EV & Zone applications Provide deep technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on automotive MCUs and application system expertise on x EV (Inverter, BMS and OBC/DCDC) and Zone Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automotive MCU and incorporate them into the x EV and Zone application system designs Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MCU and the system such as x EV & Zone applications Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform MCU product improvements and new developments Work closely with key customers to understand their future system requirements and provide technical guidance on MCU and implementation of MCU solutions Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customers and internal teams Drive continuous improvement and innovation in system design and functionality Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on MCU products and system solutions Strong knowledge of automotive MCUs and their applications in various automotive subsystems, especially in x EV and Zone Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Willingness to travel as needed Good written and spoken English skills Additional Information Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose ‘ To Make Our Lives Easier .’ As the industry’s leading expert in embedded processing with unmatched quality and system-level know-how, we have evolved to provide scalable and comprehensive semiconductor solutions for automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and Io T industries based on the broadest product portfolio, including High Performance Computing, Embedded Processing, Analog & Connectivity, and Power.
