Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Legal Head with extensive knowledge of Real estate law and legal consulting. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in drafting MOUs, managing registrations, and providing strategic legal guidance. Retired judges with relevant consulting experience are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide expert legal counsel on court cases (need not go to court but update the details to MD on a regular basis).
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, agreements and other legal documents.
- Should have strong background in land document scrutiny, land registration, change of land use, conversion etc;
- Oversee and manage legal aspects of registrations, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all legal matters related to the company.
- Ensuring timely document registrations.
- Ensure legal due diligence during land / Property acquisition and title investigation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the internal legal team, if applicable.
- Coordinate with land acquisition team for:
- For title scrutiny/land documents.
- Drafting of MOU and agreements.
