Our products are designed to be the fastest installing and most cost-effective in the industry. We are looking for an experienced Manager Quality Control (Incoming & In-Process) to join our Genius Balance of Systems (BOS) Division (Transformer) at India Plant in Taloja, Mumbai.
As we embark on this exciting journey, we are looking to hire talented individuals eager to enhance their skills and take on new challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of Oil filled Distribution and medium power Transformers up to 30 MVA / 132 kV.
- Gaining an understanding of the client's needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
- Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
- Identify and address any quality issues or defects.
- Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
- Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
- Assesses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials.
- Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
- Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
- Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Work closely with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure that quality control considerations are integrated into the design, development, and production processes.
- Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
- Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
- Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in quality control.
- Develop and manage quality control budgets.
- Ensure all quality control equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Required Skills & Experience:
Preferably Engineering Degree in Electrical / Mechanical.
Transformer working background preferred.
Experience above 15 years.
Should have Internal Auditor Certification for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
Good understanding & implementation knowledge about Six Sigma, 5S & TQM.
Familiar to ERP or other software.
