We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Design Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design and optimization of refrigeration systems used in our test chambers. This role requires a strong technical background in refrigeration engineering and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative refrigeration systems and components for a range of environmental test chambers.
Specialize in the design of cascade refrigeration systems , ensuring the effective integration of multiple stages to achieve ultra-low temperatures.
Conduct research and analysis to enhance the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of refrigeration systems.
Create and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of refrigeration systems, providing technical support as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to facilitate smooth project planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in refrigeration system design and development.
Proven expertise in refrigeration principles, thermodynamics, and system optimization.
Proficiency in PID drawing software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
Strong product design and mechanical engineering skills.
Effective problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
